Growth is weird– general take is that it happens in formative years and then you spew knowledge for awhile. Next stage is to get boring and smelly and then death gets you.

But what I am experiencing is that in this boring smelly stage I am actually starting to get ahold of what I spouted off about back there in the second third. And “growth in that first third was just like a bumper car kind of game of attrition I was playing with my ego, fears, desires etc.

So now I have this scrawled list of things that seem important in my life and I am beginning to “get” them in the sense of understanding them and knowing how to use them moment by moment.

So I suppose I am learning some things.
